Gardens by the Bay is located next to the Marina Bay Sands hotel. This is an amazing place! Fantastic tall artificial trees, two unique giant greenhouses, a beautiful area with a large lake and different alleys are a must-see.

The park is open from 5 am to 2 am every day. Entrance to the gardens is free, you only have to pay for visiting the greenhouses and for the bridge between the tops of artificial trees.

Supertree Grove (grove of giant trees) is a unique beauty place. We spent a lot of time here because we really like it. It is best to come in the evening, as the lighting creates a unique atmosphere. By the way, it was surprising for us to find that there are very few people here in the evenings!

The Japanese and Chinese gardens are located nearby on the shores of Jurong Lake, it is very easy to get there, the metro station is called Chinese Garden.

The Japanese garden is really special. It’s a well-groomed area, there are places for fishing on the lake shore. That is, if you have a lot of free time, you can take a walk there, and if you don’t visit the Japanese Garden, you won’t lose anything. Free admission.

The Chinese garden is more interesting than the Japanese one, but there is a paid entrance fee (like $12). Here you will find all sorts of pagodas, bridges, picturesque alleys, there is a bonsai garden, a museum (rather a nursery) of turtles (additional fee 5$). Of course, everything is beautiful, but if you are limited in time, then you should not go here, since you will not get any special impressions here. True, maybe it would be worthwhile for us to come in the evening on a day off, since at this time there seems to be a fireworks display here… but at the time it was not possible.
