A very famous entertainment island. Locals love to relax here, so Sentosa is crowded on weekends. On weekdays, there are much fewer people, mostly tourists. There is nothing on the island! Universal Studios Amusement Park, S.E. A. Aquarium, water park, museums, dolphinarium, beaches, hotels, cafes and restaurants, various attractions throughout the island, and much, much more.

We traveled to Sentosa for 2 days and managed only part of the planned. It is completely incomprehensible how some, according to them, only have one day on the island? Naturally, I will talk about what we have done.

If you are traveling with a travel agency, then you will most likely be brought to Sentosa by bus. If on your own, then first you need to take the metro to HarbourFront station and get off at the VivoCity shopping center.

There are already three options here:

1) On foot – along the Sentosa Boardwalk two-level sidewalk, price – 1$.

2) By the Singapore Cable Car from HarbourFront near VivoCity. This method is expensive, 26$ both ways.

3) The fastest and most practical way is the monorail. In the VivoCity shopping center you go up to the third level, pay 4$ for a ride and that’s it, in a few minutes you are on Sentosa.

Here the trailer has two or three stops, you can get off at any. In addition to these options, you can take a taxi, but in addition to the cost of the trip itself, you will have to pay $5 to enter the island. It seems that there is still a free bus from the airport, but I did not learn about it in detail.

On the first day, we used the most convenient way – the monorail. When leaving the metro to the VivoCity shopping center, we simply followed the signs to the third level; we used an EZ-Link card to pay for the fare. The monorail train is two small carriages; go quite a bit. On the second day, we also reached the island by monorail, and then we took a cable car back to Mount Faber. Yes, the cable car is a little expensive, but because of the beautiful view it is necessary to ride at least once.
