When collecting information about Singapore before my trip, I very often came across the statement that this city was simply created for shopping. At first, we didn’t think so, because for some reason the first trips to shopping centers turned out not to be unsuccessful, but even frightening. Constantly stumbled upon only boutiques of well-known world brands (all sorts of gucci, prada, cartier, etc.), where the number of figures on the price tags dazzled in the eyes. But then we began to carefully go around shopping centers and it turned out that even in the most “promoted” and expensive (for example “Ion”) on the lower floors there are many stores with a good selection at very reasonable prices.
And we got a very positive impression from shopping in Singapore in the Bugis area (just get to the Bugis metro station). There are two shopping centers – “Bugis junction” and “Bugis +”. Well, they just have a lot of good, high-quality things at normal prices. In addition, there is a large food court, even two in each of the centers. In general, if one of the purposes of your trip to Singapore is shopping, then I recommend starting right away from the Bugis area.
